 WHY ME?

DJing your event is my passion!
Good music and the right DJ can make a special event or occasion even more memorable.  I love what I do and passionately believe that my job is to make sure everybody is having a great time!

Whatever you need, I can do it!
With decades of experience, I've played indoors and out, small and large venues and all kinds of events from 18ths to 80ths. I have the music knowledge and technical skills to seamlessly mix music of all ages and genres to get everybody up and dancing. 

I can MC if needed or just let the music do the talking. And when it comes to music, that can be (pretty much!) anything you want, whether that's a mix with something for everyone or themed events. I can do cool and classy, club sets or your (super-cheesy) guilty pleasures!

You can have as much or as little input as you like.
Busy and just want to book me and leave me to it? No problem - I'll get the basic info from you, liaise with the venue and get everything prepped ready for the day.

BUT, if you want more input, I'll work with you to discuss details such as music genres, must-play or never-play songs, age-groups, and the level of MCing and interactivity required.

FAQs

  • What do you play?

    I play most genres, from way-back-when to bang-up-to-date and am happy to do themed events. 


    I'll adapt the playlist based on the celebration and the expected guests, which usually means a mix of everything.


    Got something obscure in mind? Get in touch and I'll see if I can help.

  • Do you take requests?

    Yes! And I think DJs that don't are being a bit precious!


    I'll ask you what you do and don't want to hear before the event but I'll also take requests on the day.

  • Do you work with the venue?

    This is your big event so I'll speak with the venue and arrange everything directly with them. Of course, I can keep you in the loop or even work with you if you prefer. You're in charge!

  • Do you provide all equipment?

    Yes, I'll arrive with professional-standard audio equipment and lighting rig as well as microphones and a DJ stand to work from.

  • Do you offer consultations?

    I am always happy to speak or meet with potential clients because I understand choosing the right DJ is very important.


    Don't worry if that's not for you - many clients prefer my quick online form and others like to 'book and forget', leaving the details to me.

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?

    I ask for £100 deposit to secure a booking. That means you can rest easy knowing the DJ for your event is sorted and I can get busy planning. Once it's in the calendar,  you can relax and I can get busy preparing!

  • Do you have insurance?

    Yes, I have the Public Liability Insurance that many venues will need to see and I also have insurance for my equipment in case of any mishaps.

  • How much do you charge?

    My rates are very competitive but I prefer to offer individual quotes because every event is different.
